Responsibilities
Objective, Scope of Work, Responsibilities and Description of the Proposed Analytical Work
Background:
The project is considered as a complement to the interventions of the United Nations Development Program in reviving the labor market in Deir Ez-Zor, and as part of an integrated program to revive Al-Ashara area and services to provide the basics of living in addition to reactivate the economic movement in this Area, This project included collection and removal solid waste and debris in Al-Ashara.
Functions / Key Results Expected:
Under the overall direction of the Infrastructure rehabilitation officer and program supervisor , the Technical observer will be dedicated to this project delivery and quality.
the main responsibility is to ensure the successful achievement of all project activities by performing the following tasks:
-Providing technical support for the work progress in the project.
-Supervising works that including collection and removal of solid waste and debris.
-Prepare area statements and workshop record.
-Daily supervision of the implementation of the works required by the workshops within specific criteria and commitment to the implementation schedule.
-Compliance with any duties assigned by the main supervisor.

Education:
-Civil engineering bachelor’s degree
Experience:
5 years of experience in the same field or another related field
Computer Requirements:
Experience in the usage of computers and office software packages

Salary and Benefits
This position is with ICI for the benefit of UNDP Integrated Area-Based (Al-Shara – Deir EzZor governorate)
- Candidates with more than 3 months Third Party Personnel contract validity, will not be eligible to apply for this position
