Responsibilities
1. Verify all transactions booked in the accounting systems.
2. Review and approve Accounting transactions of the Head Office and Branches
3. Ensure correct entries of Capital, General Expenses and incomes of Head Office and Branches.
4. Review of tax statement (stamp duty, end of year tax statement), coordinate all tax issues with tax authorities.
5. Supervise and review monthly and yearly closing entries.
6. Ensure and review accounting entries of assets and depreciation and reconcile fixed assets register with assets accounts.
7. Management of chart of accounts.
8. Ensure that accounting treatment is done as per the IAS and IFRS
9. Prepare CBS reports.
10. Coordinate the work with the external auditor, and verify the external auditor report before submission to CBS.


Qualifications
• University degree in Accounting or Banking and Insurance or any related study. Master’s degree is a plus.
• At least (5) five years experience in Accounting or any relevant field
• Managerial Skills including Decision Making, CommunicationInterpersonal Skills.
• Ability to analyze and follow up, Strategic Thinking, Customer Service.
• Advanced Financial and Accounting Skills.
• Sufficient level of computer literacy (Microsoft Office). Excellent command of spoken and written English.
• Flexibility, Integrity, Enthusiasm towards work, Confidentiality.
• Completed or exempted from military service (for males candidates).
• Must be a citizen or living in Damascus.
• Must have the Syrian nationality.
