1. Follow up on the implementation of the project activities administratively, financially, technically in addition to supporting the M&E processes.
2. Develop the technical and financial documents of the planned activities.
3. Contribute/support the required bidding and procurement processes.
4. Lead the coordination with the communities, national council, and the local councils to facilitate the preparation and implementation of the planned activities.
5. Provide needed technical support for developing the training materials and conducting the training sessions.
6. Lead the preparations and the implementation process of the hygiene kits distributions and the awareness campaigns.
7. Lead the preparations and implementation processes of the community-based initiatives and prepare solid reports on the outcomes.
8. Supervise the provision of the water trucking services in the targeted locations and ensure that the water safety requirements and standards are respected and fully applied.
9. Provide full supervision for the maintenance and operation activities in the designated water facilities.
10. Setting up and maintaining relationships with key people in the community, stakeholders, and community leaders to ensure proper implementation.
11. Provide regular updates to the Project Manager and for any requested reports (progress reports, donors reports,).
12. Report any incidences related to the protection of the vulnerable groups to the management.
13. Report security incidences in the field on time to the management.
14. Establish and maintain a database for the achieved results and progress.
15. Establish and maintain a database on the prices of the supplies and services provided under this project in order to observe the changes and inform the needed modification/revision in the work plan.
16. provide needed support to the admin, finance, and HR-related processes- if needed.
17. Ensure timely completion of project activities according to the weekly and monthly plans.
18. Any other tasks request by the project manager.

A new agency, the Aga Khan Agency for the Habitat (AKAH), works to ensure that people live in physical settings that are as safe as possible from the effects of natural disasters, that residents who do live in such high risk areas are able to cope with disasters in terms of preparedness and response, and that these settings provide access to social and financial services that lead to greater opportunities and a better quality of life. The new agency merges the activities of the Aga Khan Planning and Building Services, with its prize-winning water and sanitation programmes and low-cost habitat products, such as smoke-free stoves; the humanitarian arm of AKDN, FOCUS, which promotes disaster mitigation and resiliency and intervenes after disasters; the AKDN's Disaster Risk Management Initiative, which focuses on disaster preparedness in remote areas; and the environment- and habitat-related activities of the Aga Khan Foundation, including the Prince Sadruddin Fund for the Environment and the Foundation’s highly regarded rural support programmes
