Responsibilities
1. Manage the implementation of the planned interventions in line with project’s proposal, budget and workplan; through supervising the processes of the project activities administratively, financially, technically in addition to supporting the M&E processes.
2. Set up and strengthen the cooperation mechanisms with the local communities and the project’s stakeholders and lead the coordination with the local committees, national council, and the local councils to facilitate the preparation and implementation of the planned activities.
3. Supervise the bidding and procurement process in close coordination with the logistic department, update market condition, availability, suppliers list, and monitor the price of the materials, raising requisition and following up supplies’ status of project materials.
4. Provide the Head of the Planning and Building department with regular and documented updates on the work progress through developing the needed technical and financial reports.
5. Lead and implement the program follow up and monitoring processes in close cooperation with the M&E team and suggest proper mechanisms and tools to ensure that the achieved results, challenges, lessons learned, and opportunities are efficiently documented and reported.
6. Conduct periodical site visits to inspect technical works, assess needs and outstanding issues and propose remedial works as appropriate with active supervision of the project’s staff.
7. Support the communication and visibility activities and facilitate the donors’ visit.
8. Set up the criteria for the quality of implementation to ensure that the work has been done accordingly and suggest innovative practices and approaches to enhance the sustainability, efficiency of the services at the community level.
9. Review and check the technical specification, the BoQs where it's needed and ensure the timely completion of project activities according to the weekly and monthly plans.
10. Providing all technical and logistical needed support to team members in the admin, finance and HR department and allocate the task to the project’s staff in a manner that suits the requirements of each activity.
11. Support partners and AKAH team by sharing information between partners and facilitating smooth coordination to facilitate their work.
12. Maintain confidentiality and ensure the non-disclosure of any information whatsoever relating to the practices and business of AKAH, acquired in the course of duty, to any other person or organization without authority, except in the normal execution of duty.
13. Perform any other tasks request by the Head of Planning and Building department.
14. Adhere to organizational processes and policies, code of conducts and assignments related to department to contribute the overall goal of AKAH in Syria


Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in civil, Environmental engineering, or any other related field.
- Experience: at least Five years of proven related experience with social working background preferably

• Technical Skills: Good writing skills in English, well versed with donor language, drafting, and designing of high-quality reports and documentation and timely delivery of assignment
