Responsibilities
1. Deploy release code and software updates on production environment accurately and in a secure way.
2. Analyze current technologies and develop steps, tools and processes to improve the management of production environment.
3. Participate in building and setting up infrastructure as code (IaC) tools.
4. Identify the components and services upon which application functionality depends.
5. Monitor applications services, logs and performance and ensure setting the necessary alerts to notify concerned of application abnormal behavior.
6. Manage production environment of application systems through installation, configuration, upgrades, patch updates in coordination with IS (Information Security) & Systems Engineering teams.
7. Analyze change requests related to service/ feature/ servers/ network, etc. on any production server in order to provide feedback to concerned parties.
8. Take the necessary measures that ensure rolling back faulty application changes.
9. Report and follow up bugs and approved change requests to concerned business units or providers.
10. Monitor and evaluate production environment platforms and conduct the needed configuration and maintenance.
11. Apply the needed configurations on live systems as per business/operation requests.
12. Identify, analyze, fix or recommend appropriate solution for emerging applications issues.
13. Review, categorize, initially diagnose, follow up incidents reported by users and as per the section service catalog and report unresolved incidents/ service requests to concerned parties.
14. Participate in developing disaster recovery plans of assigned applications in coordination with Business Continuity and Risk Management Section to maintain service availability.
15. Maintain and update Section’s technical documentations.
16. Check Section & Individual objectives on regular basis and effectively participate in achieving them to ensure successful contribution to company's goals and corporate objectives.
17. Participate in conducting the OJT for new team members and promote a culture of knowledge transfer, cooperation and teamwork.
18. Contribute to the continuous improvement of Syriatel Quality Management System.

Qualifications
1. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Engineering / IT Engineering (Software/ Information Systems) is required.
2. Experience: 1 Year of applications operation/ applications operation/ CI/CD experience is a plus.
3. Professional Certification: ITIL Foundation/ MCITP/ASL/ DevOps Master/ AWS certified DevOps and Docker certified associate certifications are a plus.
