- Under the supervision of the Program Managers, the Education Officer is responsible for coordinating the successful implementation of the educational activities, providing strategic advice, ensuring effective implementation of the activities, monitoring, reporting, and maintaining relations with stakeholders.
- Collect data and information, Monitor results, achievements and targets reached against indicators; and ensure that activities are fully documented through attendance sheets of participants, pictures, videos, and activities ad-hoc reports.
- Provide monthly reports to the Project Manager providing updates on the activities of the overall project and highlighting challenges and solutions; and propose new activities according to identified needs.
- Supervise the teachers' and learners' improvements and daily challenges to assess the impact and quality of the education services provided.
- Supervise and manage the education team staff and volunteers, and assist in the management of the resources of the projects.
- Support the Project Manager and Programme Coordinator in the design of educational training contents and supervise training correct implementation and results.
- Establish and maintain positive working relations with authorities and relevant stakeholders in the community such as the Directorate of Education, the Ministry of Education, Schools Managers, Supervisors, and Teachers to ensure cooperation and success of project implementation.
- Participate in training and workshops on education-related topics and other capacity-building activities according to the project needs.
- Perform any other task not here listed and necessary for the implementation of the project activities or the mission program as requested by the Project Manager.

- University degree in Humanities, Education, and/or any other similar field.
- Previous experience in a similar position with INGOs (2 years).
-Previous experience in supervising educational activities.
- Strong knowledge of the Education system in Syria.
- Strong understanding of the Syria crisis's impact on the population and especially on children.
- Knowledge of Child Safeguarding policy and PSEA.
- Fluency in Arabic and English.
- Good computer skills.
- Previous experience in a similar position with INGOs (2 years).
