Responsibilities
Responsible for purchase requests for the Engineering Department.
• Ensure that all purchase order files are compiled according to procedures.
• Resolve issues/problems related to the delivery of goods and services, including discrepancies between purchase orders and items/quantities shipped or received.
• Review procurement requests to assure appropriateness of technical specifications and seek clarifications, if required.
• Conduct research into the availability of goods and services.
• Draft requests for tenders/quotes, selection tables and contracts and submit them to their hierarchical superior.
• Manage, follow up on, file and scan invoices and related documents.
• Prepare and maintain price reference list for the most purchased items.

Qualifications
Institute degree in Engineering
• University Engineering degree is a plus / an advantage
• 3 years' experience in a similar position.
• Previous experience with NGOs is an asset.
• Computer proficiency.
• Good command of English and Arabic.
• Good knowledge of the local market.
