Responsibilities
• Maintain and support existing IT infrastructure and automation tools.
• Lead and implement projects for continuous infrastructure improvement, infrastructure automation and deployments of new systems.
• Combine understanding of automation needs and IT aspects to provide stable, efficient and self-service R&D environments.
• Looking for a “Hands On” person that is familiar with new technologies and can take a task from scratch to finish with ease!

Qualifications
• 5+ years relevant work experience.
• Experience with Linux system administration including troubleshooting with good problem solving skills experience
• Experience with database administration and troubleshooting.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
• Experience with core AWS services such as EC2, VPC, S3, RDS, Route53 and ELB.
• Experience using system and application performance monitoring and centralized logging programs.
• 3+ years of network services and protocol such as DHCP, NIS, SNMP, PXE, SMTP, KRB5, LDAP
• 3+ years writing software in one or more languages such as Java, Python, Go, JavaScript, C++, or similar experience.
• Experience automating infrastructure provisioning, DevOps, and/or continuous integration/delivery.
• Familiarity with standard IT security practices such as identity and access management, data protection, encryption, certificate and key management.
• Knowledge of IP networking, VPN's, DNS, load balancing and firewall.
• Experience with continuous integration and continuous delivery pipelines, workflows, and associated tools, such as Git, Bamboo, SonarQube, etc.
• Familiarity with scripting and automation tools, including batch scripts, PowerShell, Chef, Ansible, Terraform or other similar tools.
• Experience with STIGs and system hardening through Group Policy and/or automation.
• Experience leveraging cloud services and capabilities as part of an enterprise IT environment.
