Responsibilities
1. Identify and receive Persons of Concern (PoC) from social workers, outreach volunteers or/and other frontline workers/service providers.
2. Conduct an assessment to identify GBV needs, risks (through individual counselling) as well as adequate services, including referral to specific GBV services (ex: legal, clinical or PSS services)
3. Develop an action/care plan jointly with the survivor and the primary network (if appropriate for the context). Coordinate with other focal points and service providers in the community center to ensure multi-sectorial and comprehensive plans (ex: VT, SSBG)
4. Refer cases to specific services (internal and external) to meet their needs according to the jointly developed care plan.
5. Follow up on the referrals to other services outside the community center through direct contact with service providers and/or through the PoC (if appropriate for the context).
6. Conduct mapping of services, in cooperation with the GBV ORVs in the catchment area to ensure efficient referrals and update the map periodically. 8. Follow up on the implementation of the care plan until the cases are closed. 9. Evaluate the outcomes of the care plan and amend it accordingly.
10. Update of case management database complying with the standards of information management. Ensure updated documentation of the cases using appropriate forms (soft/hard) as per the SOPs.
11. Ensure strict confidentiality and privacy of the POC including record keeping. 12. Assist with the design and planning of GBV awareness activities and methodologies of implementation. Facilitate and support the GBV ORVs in conducting GBV awareness sessions.
13. Carry out the identification of committees members in line with the SOPs and conduct regular meetings with the committee members.
14. Build the capacity and provide support for the committees in generating and implementing community based initiatives.
15. Provide the GBV coordinator with analytical and quantitative reports with disaggregated data (i.e. incident recorder) on monthly basis.
16. Alert and report to the GBV coordinator at the central level whenever there is a complex case which cannot be addressed in an effective manner
17. Work closely and coordinate with the VT, and SSBG focal points for additional interventions.
18. Ensure close collaboration and substantial coordination with CP case management for cases of children survivors of GBV in all steps of the case management cycle (identification, development of care plan, follow up, and closure)
19. Participate in relevant trainings and attend meetings as required. 20. Perform any other related duties as required.

Qualifications
-University degree in social work, sociology, psychology, counseling, guidance or any other related degree in social development or emergency/ crisis response and /or humanitarian relief aid
-Minimum of 2 years relevant work experience
-Excellent English and Arabic language skills both written and spoken
-Substantial experience working with International NGOs, UN agencies
-Demonstrated skills in assessment, counselling and casework
