Responsibilities
• Assess the living conditions, promote general hygiene standards
• Evaluate the available medical structures and quality of services provided; identify and monitor services for the referral and treatment of ICRC staff.
• Comply guidelines and procedures to be followed during the medical evacuation of personnel from the field or out of the country. • Collect accurate and reliable data on illnesses, accidents and absenteeism, with a view to providing statistics on illnesses and the medical risks taken by all staff.
• Review medical invoices for anonymization and approval of medical expenses.
• Keep the medical files of the Staff members confidential and medical documents are processed properly.
• Provide advice and support to ICRC staff with health problems.
• Ready and available to respond to medical emergencies and inquiries from the staff 24/7.


Qualifications
• Medical doctor.
• Very good command of English and Arabic.
• Computer proficiency.
• Three years' clinical experience.
• Experience in mental health and stress management, is an asset
• Knowledge of public health, is an asset
