1. Implement VAS (value added services) according to preset requirements.
2. Supervise provider’s intervention in installing and commissioning VAS network elements.
3. Perform acceptance tests for VAS network elements and features.
4. Integrate new VAS nodes in coordination with the provider.
5. Execute work orders issued by Planning & Engineering Unit and assigned by Head of Section on VAS nodes within required timeframe.
6. Check VAS network elements performance through core network counters results and apply the required actions.
7. Participate in the testing and activation of SMS roaming (Application to Peer & Peer to Peer)
8. Perform international roaming experts group (IREG) tests for new roaming agreements (postpaid, prepaid and Data) in coordination with roaming partner and the concerned departments in Syriatel.
9. Update HLR (Home Location Register) and VLR (Visitor location Register) databases to activate roaming service as per new roaming agreements.
10. Perform corrective and preventive tests for roaming service as requested from operators
11. Prepare SIM e-profile in coordination with provider.
12. Test new SIM shipment and provide Procurement Dept. with test results according to related policies and procedures.
13. Participate in technical feasibility for new value added services to ensure integrating the new service on core network.
14. Administrate, implement and update roaming databases and configuration in the international gateway
15. Apply security requirements on roaming nodes through firewall installation, configuration and administration for network elements.
16. Request and administrate signaling links with international signaling providers.
17. Coordinate with provider for support in solving problems and implementing new features and services.
18. Inspect network transport materials in warehouse as requested.
19. Solve customers' complaints received by Customer Service effectively and timely as per related policies and procedures.
20. Provide Customer Service Dept. with complete and accurate feedback about the actions applied to solve the complaints.
21. Keep records about the corrective and preventive actions applied to solve customers’ complaints.
22. Check Section & Individual objectives on regular basis and effectively participate in achieving them to ensure successful contribution to company's goals and corporate objectives.
23. Participate in conducting the OJT for new team members and promote a culture of knowledge transfer, cooperation and teamwork.
24. Contribute to the continuous improvement of Syriatel Quality Management System.

1. Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology / Automation Engineering or equivalent
2. Experience: 3 Years of Technical Experience in Telecom are required
3. Professional Certification: Oracle / UNIX are a plus
