Responsibilities
Major Duties and Accountabilities
•Prepare, examine, or analyse accounting records, financial statements, or other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and procedural standards,
•Establish tables of accounts and assign entries to proper accounts,
•Check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, accuracy, and proper codes,
•Comply with international financial standards, company policies, procedures, and regulations.
Assist the management in preparing the Budget,
Secondary responsibilities
•Reconcile, adjust and maintain Balance Sheet accounts such as prepaid expenses, petty cash, accounts, receivable, payroll related payables, loan and notes receivable, differed income accounts, etc,
•Compile, enter and post monthly adjusting journal entries,
•Check all submitted payment requests regarding documentation, accuracy, approvals and authorization as per the organisation policies and procedures,
•Check out the budget availability of requested payments,
•Carry out the daily bookkeeping to the accounting software,
•Reconcile the accruals accounts on monthly basis,
•Prepare the reconciliation of bank accounts and the advance accounts,
•Provide the needed financial information to the staff members and the third parties,
•Provide the financial support and advise to other staff members,
The job holder may be required to undertake additional duties, which may be reasonably expected and forms part of the job of the division/ project,

Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, Chartered Accountant with complete articles from a reputed Chartered Accountancy firm is preferable,
•One-year previous accounting, financial reporting experience is preferred,
•Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint),
