Responsibilities
Program Design and Planning:

- Support the coordinator in planning and organizing the development, coordination, implementation, and monitoring of MHPSS/protection activities.
- Support the drafting of program strategy and planning documents, proposals, grants, and related tools
- Support in developing the program concept note and proposal in collaboration with protection and MHPSS team leaders for funding opportunities.
- Support in developing the budgets, procurement plans, and all needed annexes with collaboration with program team leaders.
- Participate and support in preparing and implementation of need assessments.
- Assist in the development of tools, guidelines, and frameworks for program implementation and administration
- Participate in developing the HRP and HNO for the protection department.

Program Implementation and Monitoring:

- Support the MHPSS coordinator in Budget management for protection/MPSS activities, ensuring sufficient and adequate expenses and estimation tracking. to develop and adhere to spending plans and meet spending targets.
- Procurement plan management, including; PRs are being raised, approved, and received on time.
- Keep proper and updated track for implementation plan and targets. Ensuring that targets and activities are implemented on time.
- Track progress against activities and outputs as committed, and support team to adjust work plans to most effectively achieve targets under the guidance of the department coordinator.
- Report and flag any issues related to the program, including; spending and targets.
- Participates actively in campaigns and events related to the program.
- Provide support and guidance to team leaders on the operations of the program.
- Support the collection of reports from the field, collating, drafting, editing and submitting to the MHPSS coordinator for review and final submission.
- Ensure that the needed approvals are in place when needed.
- Assist in coordination with NGOs, UN, donors and government, as requested by the MHPSS Coordinator.
- Represent IMC in coordination forums, as requested by the MHPSS Coordinator.

Grant Closure:

- Develop and follow detailed work, procurement and spending plans in relation to project timelines and deliverables; handle course correction plans as informed by progress.
- Ensure proper and timely implementation of current projects and grants; track and monitor progress and performance against indicators.
- Handle the budgets for the implementation of the programming in multiple sites and across various grants following spending plans
- Engage and follow up with Supply Chain, Field Management, and Finance team to ensure effective planning and implementation for smooth program implementation.
- Provide MHPSS Coordinator On a daily/weekly/monthly basis, with tracking/monitoring information, partnership communication summaries and records requiring attention.
- Identify and document deviations and variances from the original plan and seek justifications with collaboration with the team leaders.
- Ensure all materials and requests are received before the end of the grant.
- Organize the process of final/closure reports for the grant.

- Be familiar with all IMC policies including Code of Conduct and SEA and ensure compliance.


Qualifications
- Master Degree, preferably in Business Administration, social sciences or any other related field.
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems such as word processing, managing files and records, designing forms, and other office procedures and policies.
- Good command in using MS office (Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated experience in proposal writing, reporting, and implementation
- Experience working with donor-funded projects
- Demonstrated experience in project cycle management including proposal writing and budget management
