- Recruitment
1-Ensure a proper follow up on recruitment files and compliance with recruitment procedures
2-Review recruitment requests. In coordination with Country management and Finance
3- Drafts job descriptions and vacancy announcements following indications given by coordination and COOPI’s internal standards.
4- Evaluate candidate’s credentials (short listing) when requested
5- Conducts interviews when requested by hierarchical management
6- Reviews and/or prepare panel’s recommendations on the selection of candidates
- Administrative follow up of HR activities
1-Ensure a proper follow up on administrative files and compliance with internal process
2-Provide support and responses to inquiries related to the interpretations of staff rules and operational policies
3-Maintain HR files up to date
4-Monitor the expirations of contracts and salary payments, update the Country Administrator and the Head of Mission accordingly
5-Ensure that all internal process, regulation, are available for all staff and ensure a proper access to this information with if possible proper translation in country language.
-Training:
1- Organizing every 6 month a refresher workshop to sub base staff
2-Ad hoc training of personnel
3-Performs other duties as requested
4- When required, translate documents from English into Arabic and vice versa and/or check translations done
5-When required, support the Country Administrator and Head of Mission in writing contracts and documents
