Responsibilities
Responsible for receiving help desk calls and inquiries
Directs each help desk call to its responsible party
Adds and configures new workstations
Configures desktop hardware and installs desktop software
Trouble shoots any reported network problems in coordination with System Administrator
Performs monthly maintenance services on hardware and software
Manages Information Technology inventory
Responsible for Configuring Fingerprints for new employees.
Responsible for the documentation of user calls, and help desk procedures
Provides on-site coordination and support for subcontractors which he contacted
Proactively advise IT Management on new technologies
IT Manager can assign different tasks and responsibilities depending on availability of resources, therefore skill set should include other tasks


Qualifications
Knowledge, skills and abilities
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Experienced in desktop configuration and setup.
Experienced in computer software and hardware.
Knowledge of procedures for troubleshooting personal computers and technical devices.
Education and experience
Higher Diploma preferably in the field of Information Technology, computer information systems, or computer science.
minimum 1 year of professional experience in the field of information technology and networking.
