Responsibilities
1. Preparing a compliance program that effectively ensures the prevention of any violation of the organization's procedures, policies, and code of conduct, and helps detect any violations of these regulations.
2. Regularly review the compliance program and recommend appropriate adjustments, including advising the Compliance Officer on areas of potential compliance risk.
3. Handling any inputs and developments that help direct any amendments to the policies and procedures of EPDC in coordination with department managers to ensure proper compliance with all regulations, including developing corrective action plans as needed.
4. Preparing and activating protected and transparent reporting channels available to all parties, whether employees, volunteers, suppliers, or any parties working with EPDC.
5. Preparing training programs for all employees, volunteers, suppliers and any agencies working with EPDC.
6. Ensure that internal controls are capable of preventing and detecting cases or patterns of illegal, immoral or inappropriate behavior by employees, volunteers, suppliers and any entities working with EPDC.
7. Coordinate as appropriate with external legal counsel and follow up on any investigations into matters that merit investigation within the compliance program.
8. Develop effective working relationships with all departments, programs, and projects.
9. Preparing and submitting regular reports (periodically and annually) on the compliance program and the gaps and proposed amendments to be submitted to the compliance officer (in Arabic and English) to the direct manager of the compliance department.
10. Ensure that all contracts contain a language that is compatible with the company.
11. Ensuring the implementation of all archiving and paper and electronic documentation of work documents.
12. Carry out any other tasks assigned to them by the Compliance Officer in accordance with the nature of their work.


Qualifications
1-University degree as a minimum, preferably in related fields (such as business administration or law)or any relevant University degree.
2-Minimum two years’ work experience in related fields: compliance or internal/external auditing. or accountability.
3-Minimum two years' administrative experience at a supervisory level.
4-preferably for those who have experience in humanitarian work.
5-Proficient user of MS office excellent level.
6-English language with an excellent level.

Specific Vacancy Requirements
•Knowledge of laws and regulations relevant to NGOs at an excellent level.
•Work experience in preparing and auditing policies and procedures.
•Priority is given to those who have work experience in accordance with ISO 26000 for NGOs.
•Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing needs in the work environment.
•Skill in managing and organizing time.
•High effective communication skills.
•High Level of communication skills.
