Responsibilities
• Data Collection and Management:
- Facilitate both qualitative and quantitative data collection efforts, such as conducting surveys, focus group discussions (FGDs), interviews, and other relevant methodologies, to gather necessary data for project analysis and reporting.
- Manage the process of data entry, cleaning, and preliminary analysis using specialized software or program databases, ensuring data integrity and accuracy.
• MEAL System Development and Implementation:
- Work closely with Project Managers and the MEAL Officer to devise comprehensive Monitoring and Evaluation (M&E) plans, logical frameworks, and performance indicators for each project, in line with donor expectations and organizational objectives.
- Assist in the creation and implementation of innovative M&E tools and methodologies that align with the project’s logical framework, aiming to effectively monitor progress and evaluate outcomes.
• Reporting and Analysis:
- Engage in detailed data analysis to extract meaningful insights for needs assessments, identifying critical trends, gaps, and opportunities within project areas.
- Contribute to the drafting of comprehensive needs assessment reports and regular progress reports, detailing findings, achievements, and lessons learned to inform future project planning and implementation strategies.
• Documentation and Knowledge Management:
- Systematically organize, collect, and manage all program-related and MEAL-specific data and documentation, ensuring secure and accessible storage for future reference and analysis.
- Maintain up-to-date MEAL databases and archives, facilitating easy access to information and supporting knowledge sharing across the organization.

Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in social sciences, statistics, development studies, or a related field, with a strong foundation in research methods and data analysis.
- Experience: 2 years of experience in a similar role with INGO/ 4 years experience in NGOs.
- Language: Fluent in written and spoken English.
