Responsibilities
Recruitment:
•Identified with HROD Manager the hiring needs of all departments in coordination with departments’ heads.
•Develop, maintain and ensure compliance of all recruitment according to SOS policies and procedures.
•Complete all administrative arrangements relating to the recruitment and selection process such as but not limited, arrange for tests, prepare interview packs, screen shortlist applicants according to job requirements.
•Scheduling and conducting different types of interviews, filling paperwork, and keeping abreast of employment law and legislation.
•Advertise vacant positions and replacements in time on advertisement agency upon approval and as per recruitment timeline.
•Filtering appropriate job applicants and performing reference check.
•Sending job offers to successful candidates and arranging for the relevant documentations to be handled to HR department to proceed with hiring procedures.
•Keeping up to date on current opening/vacancies and recruitment reports to be sent to head of departments.

Personnel:
•Assist in preparing Service contract and follow up resignation, end of contracts documents (clearance form, certificate of employment…)
•Enter and update HR data.
•With the support of the HR Assistant guarantee that all personnel dossiers are kept in order and updated (e.g. contract of employment, contract’s amendment, CV, national id, pictures, disciplinary measures, leave requests, resignation letters, etc.)
•Provide necessary support to the HR department as per required and assist in any other tasks as required by his/her department and propose suggestions that may improve work conduct.
Training:
•Coordinate with HR Advisor and Head of departments in implementation of the training plan.
•Liaise external & internal trainings and coordinate for training sessions.
•Obtain approvals and prepare contract for service providers trainers and other needed documentations.
•Ensure that all documents are completed and saved.
•Any other tasks required from direct supervisor.


Child Safeguarding (CS)
•Child protection is everyone's responsibility.
•Responsible within own area of work to prevent and protect children of all forms of abuse, abandonment, exploitation, violence and discrimination based on SOS Child Protection Policy principles.
•Responsible for reporting any CS suspicion, concern, allegation or incident immediately following Child Safeguarding reporting procedures. CS reports should be made to the national CS focal person or any other member of the national CS team and/or to the respective line manager.

Qualifications
- University degree in HR specialization MBA is plus
- 3 years NGO Min, INGO experience in human resources Department
- Advanced level of English and Arabic languages.
- Very Good Computer Skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Able to work independently and within a team to achieve results
- Full understanding of Syria Labor Law and social security
