Responsibilities
● Process authorized/approved cash payments requests as per the SOP’s.
● Prepare cash book sheet, complete with all supporting documentation on daily basis.
● Manage the SYP cash box according to the finance policies of SIF. Recording daily cash transactions in the cash book and in the ERP.
● Assist the Deputy Finance Coordinator to record EUR and USD cash payments in the ERP.
● Complete a daily cash count and regularly reconcile with ERP journal balances.
● Follow up with reimbursements to be made to expats and national staff for per diems, accommodation payments, and other reimbursements according to SIF policy.
● Making SYP cash payments for cash advances and other payments after getting appropriate approvals on the supporting documents.
● Follow up with cash advances given to staff and close advances according to the financial policy and procedure for cash advance management.
● Prepare monthly Cash reconciliations, under the supervision of the line Manager.
● Process & follow-up Cash Advances with local staff in accordance with the agreed procedures.
● Stamping all cash supporting documents with the relevant stamps as required for the different agreements, scanning the documents, renaming the documents adequately and archiving them on the server.
● Perform other tasks assigned by the Deputy Finance Coordinator.
Data entry
● Maintaining contractors tracking sheet
● Assist Finance Team in the month end and year end closing.
Files Management
● In coordination with the line manager, develop and maintain a filing system of financial documentation,
● The separate month-wise files be maintained with proper coding/tagging.
● Maintain clean and accurate accounting files with original documents. Documents should be filed in sequence and clearly indicated with a document number for easy access in hard copy and in soft copy. Soft copies should be renamed and stored in a folder on the server.

Qualifications
- Minimum of BA. CMA and/or CPA and/or MBA is a PLUS
- Experience finance and audit related positions, preferably with INGOs
- Experience in or knowledge of non-profit accounting and finance.
