Responsibilities
- Develop/review all LH tools, standards and SoPs related to the
project LH activities.
- Prepare, manage and regularly update the project activities
work plan in close coordination with the Programme Manager,
ensuring timely and quality implementation in compliance with
the defined project strategy, as well as INTERSOS and donor
guidelines.
- Supervise the implementation of Livelihood activities with the
support of the LH Team and in coordination with the Programme
Manager;
- Oversee the LH platform and database to ensure timely updated
inputs and adherence to SOPs;
- Undertaking field visits to the project locations to
continuously monitor the progress and the quality of the
implementation of the project LH activities;
- Continuously assess, analyze and evaluate the impact of the
project LH activities and the needs of the targeted populations
in the project areas, periodically update the situation
analysis and inform the Programme Manager accordingly;
- Ensuring the follow-up for LH program related documentation is
in place for project compliance and donor audits;
- Providing relevant feedback for new program development;
Participate and/or review the periodic LH reports.
- Collaborate with the MEAL Department in order to ensure quality
standards of implementation and collect/process feedback and
complaints from beneficiaries;
- Contributing in setting programming strategies for INTERSOS
Syria with reference to the ERL sector;
- Proactively participate and represent INTERSOS in relevant
working groups and relevant inter-sectorial coordination
meetings at field level to contribute in the development of
guidelines, standards, tools and strategies at the regional
level;

Qualifications
Education:
- University Degree in Social Sciences, Humanitarian crisis or
equivalent.
- Master Degree in a related field is an asset.

Competencies: (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Professional Competencies:
- Three to five years of work experience in the ERL sector;
Demonstrated ability to work within a humanitarian context;
Previous experience in direct implementation of ERL project
activities;
- Very good understanding of protection mainstreaming and
international humanitarian principles;
- Computer literacy (Word, Excel, PowerPoint);
Excellent analytical and reporting skills to donor agencies;
- Experience in development of SoPs, data collection and
management tools.

Behavioral competencies:
- A high degree of flexibility and ability to work in insecure,
stressful and hardship environments;
- High confidentiality, respect and non-discriminatory attitude;
Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines;
- Ability and willingness to travel across the assigned project
areas at short notice;
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.



Languages:
- Fluency in English (written and spoken);
- Knowledge of Arabic is essential.
