Responsibilities
-Oversees the full-cycle production of audiovisual content—from concept development and commissioning to filming and scripting.
-Manages the creation, promotion, and distribution of public communication materials for the ICRC Syria delegation across television and digital news broadcasters.
-Produces web-optimized, multilingual content and develops a network of external contacts including broadcasters, agencies, and digital platforms.
-Provides technical and conceptual oversight of audiovisual materials produced by field communication officers and collaborates with the Communication Department to establish and monitor performance indicators for online platforms.
-Ensures strategic planning, efficient sharing, secure storage, and timely archiving of audiovisual materials; leads the production of quarterly and annual reports on social media performance.
-Supports and coaches the Communication team in audiovisual techniques; ensures adherence to AV information management procedures and supervises the use of analytics tools.
-Keeps abreast of technological advancements and media trends; provides informed analysis on content innovation and demonstrates expertise in audiovisual hardware.

Qualifications
-Bachelor’s degree or specialized technical diploma, with a relevant professional background in arts, communications, marketing or journalism.
-Minimum of 3 years’ experience in audiovisual production, including in emerging technologies.
-Excellent computer knowledge with demonstrated capability in video production software such as Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere.
-Good knowledge of social media fundamentals, web distribution, and search engine optimization.
-Very good command of written and spoken English and Arabic.
-Minimum of 3 years’ experience in audiovisual production, including in emerging technologies.
-Excellent computer knowledge with demonstrated capability in video production software such as Final Cut Pro and Adobe Premiere.
-Good knowledge of social media fundamentals, web distribution, and search engine optimization.
