Responsibilities
General Responsibilities
Assist with the day-to-day logistics operations under the supervision of the Logistics Officer.
Support the inspection and maintenance of vehicles to ensure they are in proper working condition and compliant with organizational standards.
Help manage stock control systems and ensure accurate record-keeping of items in the NPA’s store and warehouse.
Support the update and maintenance of asset, inventories and ensure timely reporting of any discrepancies.
Organize and file logistics-related documents, ensuring completeness, accuracy and accessibility.
House-keeping duties
Assist in the timely collection and delivery of program-related materials.
Support the procurement team in collecting quotations, delivering purchase orders, and collecting items from suppliers when needed.
Ensure that all collected items are supported with the appropriate documentation (GRN, invoices, receipts, etc.).
Maintain fuel usage and logbook records and assist with data entry and monthly reporting.
Support the booking of hotels, transportation, venues and other similar items.
Conduct supervision and coordination for the maintenance of programme assets, offices, and accommodation
Specific duties
Assist in maintaining an up-to-date inventory of field teams and department assets and inventories.
Support maintaining vehicle logbooks, service records, and fuel tracking files.
Help arrange for basic repairs and servicing in coordination with the Logistics Officer.
Participate in monthly logistics reports, including stock movement, vehicle/fuel usage, and equipment tracking.
May be required to travel within Syria and Internationally to perform logistical duties.
May be expected to work outside of normal office hours and will be compensated for such time in accordance with NPA policy.
Perform any other duties within their physical and technical abilities as assigned by the Line Manager.

Qualifications
University degree or diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field, or relevant equivalent experience.
Good language requirement for both English and Arabic – speaking, reading and writing
Good general computer skills
Minimum 1 year of experience in logistics or a related field, preferably in the humanitarian sector, or equivalent.
Familiarity with warehouse or asset management systems is an advantage.
Previous experience with fleet management is an advantage
Good computer skills in using MS Office – Word / Excel
Experience with logistics/procurement software is an advantage.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Attention to detail and ability to handle multiple tasks under pressure.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
Must hold a minimum of a C class driving license - D class driving license is preferred
