Responsibilities
1. Build and contribute to the ongoing development and improvement of Syriatel communication system.
2. Propose and plan different corporate activities that can be incorporated within advertising, promotional, events and CSR budgets in alignment with corporate’s objectives.
3. Manage the development and improvement of media strategy final draft, approve media plans, and maintain and ensure a coherent brand image through the different communication channels and available communication mix.
4. Develop communication action plan/calendar and manage its implementation as approved.
5. Manage the development of advertising, and promotional plans and their tools, to convey the needed key messages to Syriatel audience and contribute to increasing Syriatel revenue.
6. Approve all creative briefs prepared by Creative team, and provide enhancement recommendations.
7. Review, enhance and approve events and CSR annual plans in alignment with Syriatel strategy.
8. Manage the development of all E-Communication activities, social media networking, and all Syriatel websites and intranet.
9. Provide recommendations to the marketing brief and approve the final version that shall be presented to advertising agencies.
10. Manage the preparation of press conferences, review and approve press releases.
11. Approve the cancellation/renewal of all media providers and sponsorships contracts.
12. Review and approve the final new proposed panel location evaluation and the defined budget.
13. Approve events, exhibitions, sponsorships, and CSR initiatives based on the evaluation form, and manage the relevant planning, design and implementation.
14. Participate with Marketing Director in the planning of promotional items, approve samples in terms of design and quality, and ensure the proper preparation.
15. Propose, review, and approve new ideas to develop Syriatel products and follow up with concerned parties for proper implementation or enhancement.
16. Establish and maintain solid relationships with events’ organizers, charity and
humanitarian organizations, and all advertising and communications channels.
17. Interview candidates and provide recommendations to direct line of authority
18. Manage efficient and effective allocation and utilization of resources (financial, human,
physical, IT ….etc.) within the Unit consistent with goals, priorities and budget.
19. Review & approve the Unit’s yearly budget as per the Company's Goals and Corporate Objectives.
20. Cascade Corporate Objectives into Unit Objectives and ensure proper alignment.
21. Set, develop Unit KPIs and update when needed.
22. Lead, develop and motivate team members to reach ultimate performance, and successfully contribute in achieving Corporate, Department, and Unit Objectives.
23. Develop & maintain Syriatel Quality Management System effectively & efficiently.
24. Conduct Staff Meeting with team members minimum twice a year per region, and discuss team related issues and concerns.
25. Reinforce Corporate Culture and values by living them, communicating them to the team, and ensuring full adherence.
Authorities
Approve & manage issues related to the Job’s Administrative Authority and as per related policy.
Approve and sign all financial commitment issues related to scope of work in terms of:
• Contracts
• Purchase Orders
• Expenses
• Infrastructure Requests and commencement Orders
Approve all Social Media and websites contents.
Approve IVR Recordings.
Approve samples of branded materials.

1.1 MBA or equivalent is required.
1.2 Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing / Business Administration is required.
2. Experience: 10 Years of marketing experience including 5 Years leadership experience are required, preferably in Telecom.
3. Professional Certification: N/A
