Responsibilities
1-Country Logistics coordination:
Coordinates the country logistics function, both at Country Coordination level and at field office level.
Ensures that the logistics works correctly in qualitative and quantitative terms, at all different levels and in compliance with the procedures.
Ensures a timely and quality implementation of COOPI programming with a strong coordination between program and logistical teams.
2-Purchases management:
Ensures the correct application of the procedures COOPI and the donor related to goods and purchases (including planning and necessary documents).
Monitors suppliers' performance in compliance and ensure that the selection process for goods and services - and contracts related assignment (calls for tenders) are done in a transparent and coherent way.
Responsible for regular update of supplier lists.
Development and update of Supplier Evaluation Tool.
3-Vehicles, premises and machines management:
Ensures the machines/vehicles utilization planning and that vehicles maintenance and repair - reports and regular checks - are timely and correctly performed.
Ensures that the use of vehicles and machines is compliant with donors and organization procedures.
Responsible for effective and safe use of premises and identification of new premises.
4-Goods and stock management:
Ensures all goods inventory, stock monitoring and the use of instruments for report writing.
Monitors correct goods use and conservation.
Ensures that the correct maintenance of the immovable goods is performed and that the country is provided with rules for correctly making use of these goods.
5-Staff management:
Coordinates, supervises and evaluates the logistical staff work and ensures the training if needed.
6-Logistics reports:
Ensures that all logistic-related reports are produced in line with COOPI procedures and the Country Regulation.
7-Institutional relations:
upon request, represents the organization at all logistical sector coordination meetings.

Qualifications
Education: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Logistics, Business Administration, or a related discipline. A master's degree is a plus.
Experience:
-Significant experience (e.g., 3-5+ years) in logistics management, preferably at a senior level (such as a Country Logistics Coordinator or Manager).
-Proven experience working with non-profit organizations or in a humanitarian context.
-Demonstrable experience managing a diverse range of logistics functions, including procurement, fleet management, inventory, and warehousing.
-Experience in staff supervision and team management, including training and performance evaluation.
Technical Skills:
-Expertise in procurement procedures and donor regulations.
-Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices.
-Proficiency in fleet management, including vehicle maintenance and usage policies.
-Skilled in inventory and stock management systems.
-Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel) and logistics-specific software.
Language:
Excellent professional-level English, both written and spoken.
