Responsibilities
• Develop and implement HSE policies, procedures, and programs aligned with national laws and international best practices.
• Conduct risk assessments and implement preventive and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with environmental and occupational health & safety regulations.
• Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action follow-ups.
• Coordinate emergency response plans, drills, and training programs.
• Provide HSE awareness and training to all employees and contractors.
• Monitor HSE performance indicators and prepare periodic reports for top management.
• Collaborate with plant managers and supervisors to enforce safety standards.
• Manage waste disposal, pollution prevention, and sustainability initiatives.
• Lead internal and external HSE audits.

Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• Professional HSE certifications (NEBOSH, IOSH, and ISO 45001/14001) are highly desirable.
• Minimum 7–10 years of progressive experience in HSE management, preferably in industrial/manufacturing sectors.
• Strong knowledge of Syrian HSE regulations and international standards.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and training skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and lead cross-functional teams.
• Fluency in English and Arabic (written & spoken)
