Responsibilities
General:
 Conduct beneficiary registration.
 Coordination with the beneficiaries before starting activity.
 Participate in delivering Beneficiary Induction.
 Archiving related documents (hard copy and electronics) used during implementation.
 Follow up and monitoring all livelihoods activities as following:

Community-Led Initiatives:
• Participating in interviewing and selecting the candidates of community committee members based on pre-determined criteria.
• Facilitate community mobilization, including outreach, meetings, and support to community committees in identifying, prioritizing, and planning initiatives.
• Provide logistical and administrative support for training, workshops, and community events.
• Under Senior Officer supervision, Support the preparation of Bill of Quantities (BoQs), workplans, and monitoring tools in collaboration with engineers and committees.
• Monitor the daily implementation of initiatives, ensuring activities follow workplans, quality standards, and agreed timelines.
• Collect data, photos, and beneficiary feedback for reporting and accountability purposes.
• Support inclusive participation, particularly ensuring women, youth, and vulnerable groups are actively involved in decision-making.
• Report field-level challenges, risks, and successes to the CLI Officer on a regular basis.

Cash For Work (CFW):
• Support community committees and local stakeholders in identifying priority CFW projects (Initiatives).
• Support the senior Officer in facilitating induction and orientation sessions for workers on roles, responsibilities, safety, and safeguarding.
• Monitor daily attendance, work progress, and compliance with agreed work norms.
• Coordinate the distribution of tools, safety equipment, and materials where required.
• Collect and verify attendance sheets and payment records for CFW workers.
• Report on daily progress, challenges, and issues affecting implementation.
• Support the inclusion of women, youth, and vulnerable groups in CFW activities.
• Document lessons learned, feedback, and success stories from the field.

Soft skills training:
• Monitor Trainers’ performance and ensure they are delivering within Scope of Work.
• Follow up on beneficiary motivation and engagement including dropouts.
• Supporting the senior Officer in preparing the beneficiaries’ transportation allowance.
• Be responsible for relevant activities supplies, assets and products.


Micro-Grants:
• Support business development training logistics, attendance, and documentation.
• Monitor trainer performance and trainees’ motivation in the BDS training.
• Assist beneficiaries in preparing or updating business plans during the training.
• Provide regular follow-up coaching to beneficiaries (startup, scale-up, or asset replacement) using standardized tools through field visits where feasible or by phone.


Qualifications
Experience and technical competencies: (include years of experience)
• University or technical institute graduates with preferably one year of relevant experience in the field that is relevant to livelihoods aspects such as CFW, micro-grants, Skills development and livelihoods paradigm, counselling and interviewing, follow-up, documentation and reporting.
• Very good communication skills oral and written.
• Good English skills in writing
• MS Office package literacy.
• Well organized, patient and familiar with humanitarian work.
• Precedence is given to applicant with volunteering experience in similar fields.

Education: (include certificates, licenses etc.)
• University or technical institute degree in any of the Economics, Business Management or engineering sciences or other degree with years of relevant experience.
• Training courses in fields relevant to humanitarian response and aid.
Languages: (indicate fluency level)
• Fluent in Arabic- written and spoken is essential.
• Good written English skills.

Specific Vacancy Requirements
Travel between governorates (Lattakia - Tartous)


Salary and Benefits
As per FCA Salary scale
Contract will be Service contract for 3 months renewable according to the budget availability and performance.
