Responsibilities
Job Summary:
This role is responsible for overseeing all aspects of data collection, management, and analysis to support informed project decision-making. It includes supervising and training field teams, ensuring data accuracy and compliance with project standards, and managing digital data collection tools. The position also involves cleaning, validating, and organizing datasets, preparing reports and visualizations, and supporting project financial tracking, budget management, and freelancer payments, while coordinating effectively with stakeholders to ensure smooth operations and timely delivery of information
Key Responsibilities:
•Conduct Key Informant Interviews (KIIs) and Focus Group Discussions (FGDs) with stakeholders.
•Supervise and provide guidance to field teams during data collection to ensure quality and compliance.
•Train field staff on data collection tools and methodologies such as Kobo Toolbox and Excel.
•Review, validate, and approve collected data from field teams before submission.
•Monitor fieldwork performance and provide feedback to enhance accuracy and efficiency.
•Clean, process, and validate raw data to ensure accuracy and consistency.
•Design, configure, and manage digital data collection tools using Kobo Toolbox.
•Perform data entry, structuring, and organization using Excel and Word.
•Consolidate, format, and prepare datasets for reporting and advanced analysis.
•Generate data summaries, tables, and visualizations for internal and external reporting.
•Maintain organized documentation of datasets, tools, and methodologies for future reference and audits.
•Collaborate with project teams to provide evidence-based insights for decision-making.
•Coordinate with external stakeholders as needed to support field operations.
•Facilitate smooth information flow between the field and main office.
•Support the overall functioning of the office to ensure operational efficiency
•monitor project finances by preparing and tracking budgets, ensuring compliance with financial policies and donor requirements, monitoring expenditures, and supporting freelancer contract processing and payments.

Qualifications
•Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Social Sciences, Development Studies, or a related field.
•Training or certification in Monitoring & Evaluation, Data Analysis, or related areas is an advantage.
•Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in Monitoring & Evaluation, data collection, or research.
•Experience in supervising field data collection activities and coordinating teams
•Hands-on experience with digital data collection tools (e.g., Kobo Toolbox, ODK, SurveyCTO).
•Proven ability to clean, analyze, and interpret large datasets using Excel or other tools.
•Knowledge of data management and statistical analysis tools
•Familiarity with qualitative and quantitative research methods
•Training or certification in Monitoring & Evaluation, Data Analysis, or related areas is an advantage.
