Responsibilities
The facilitator will support RCCE efforts in Hasakeh & Raqqa, reporting to ORGANIZATION’s Qamishli Sub-office. Responsibilities span immunization, health promotion, rumor management, and coordination across health sectors.
Key Responsibilities and Tasks Required by This Role Include:
1.Support the RCCE response within the ORGANIZATION Sub-office or Country office including, developing RCCE response plans and activities to address immediate and secondary health impacts.
2.Support planning and coordination of RCCE actions on immunization campaigns, including contributing to the development and placement of evidence-based multi-media messages, tools and materials to increase demand generation and promote vaccine uptake.
3.Support coordination with RCCE partners to ensure adequate information sharing, identifying and addressing needs and gaps to maintain a cohesive and harmonized response to vaccination programmes and health emergencies.
4.Contribute to design and lead the implementation of RCCE response initiatives, in close coordination with technical programme teams, for different emerging health issues arising from the hazards, including communicable diseases, immunization, WASH and other.
5.Part of the analysis, usage and sharing of findings from vaccination campaigns.
6.Work in close coordination and facilitate partnerships and collaboration with other key operational response partners for coordinated RCCE interventions.
7.Follow-up the developed contextualized and localized key messages targeting key stakeholders and at-risk groups on various health risks and preventative actions, with a focus on vaccination.
8.Develop and manage the implementation of communication and health education-based interventions, including dissemination of messages and public health information via local radio, SMS, TV, local media.
9.Support training and capacity building to partners, community health workers, influencers and volunteers on different health risks and engagement strategies for response.
10.Following-up the interventions for addressing rumors, misinformation and information voids, using social listening and community feedback mechanisms and tools (offline and online).
11.Monitor and report on RCCE activities, plans, challenges and needs to ORGANIZATION Syria Country Office team and related reports.
12.Work with logistics colleagues to ensure supply and distribution of IEC materials and other supplies for teams conducting outreach.
13.Prepare a monthly work plan of activities in support of RCCE integrated activities and any Health campaigns.
14.Provide activity-based reports using reporting formats on time to the ORGANIZATION sub-office in Qamishli and WCO.
15.Undertake regular field visits to monitor ongoing projects, RCCE initiatives, immunization activities, emergency response, interventions and needed assessment in all locations in Hasakeh & Raqqa governorates and share field monitoring reports.
16.Support implementation of RCCE interventions for other programmes as whenever required.
17.Regularly provide content (stories, social media posts, case studies, and other information) on RCCE activities.
18.Perform other communication duties related to RCCE

Education:
- University degree in public health, social sciences, or related field.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years in community health or health education.
- Desirable: experience in behavior change campaigns and communication initiatives.
- Knowledge of Syria is essential.

- Strong communication in Arabic and English.
- Creative thinking and innovation in RCCE.
- Experience in outbreak response or disaster management.
