Responsibilities
Infrastructure & Maintenance Oversight:
Conduct site assessments and prepare technical reports for rehabilitation and construction projects.
Supervise civil works at SAMS-supported hospitals and health facilities.
Ensure compliance with engineering standards, safety protocols, and donor requirements.
Prepare maintenance plans and monitor progress of repairs and upgrades.
Technical Documentation:
Develop BOQs, drawings, and specifications for civil works.
Support procurement processes by evaluating contractor bids and technical proposals.
Submit regular progress reports and maintenance documentation.
Review all related requests from other departments, for opinion and approval from an engineering perspective.
Coordination & Compliance:
Coordinate with biomedical and operations teams to align civil works with equipment installation and facility needs.
Ensure all activities adhere to SAMS protocols and national regulations.
Provide technical input for donor proposals and project planning.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Architecture (Master’s preferred)
Minimum 2–3 years of experience in construction or health facility rehabilitation

Specific Vacancy Requirements
Proficiency in AutoCAD, MS Office, and engineering software.
Strong knowledge of Syrian building codes and safety regulations
Familiarity with WASH infrastructure and hospital safety standards.

Salary and Benefits
