Responsibilities
1. Finance – Cash and Bank Management:
The assistant will be responsible for the following tasks, all of which will be validated by the Finance & Admin Manager:
- Assisting in bookkeeping, including preparing the monthly reporting and scanning and archiving of invoices.
- Preparing the monthly bank reconciliations and all related monthly closure documents.
- Handling of advances and payments, internally and with vendors.
- Monitoring the liquidity management.
2. Administration and HR
- Cost-efficient booking of hotels, restaurants, venues.
- Assisting in organizing missions, seminars, workshops, and events.
- Processing of travel expenses claims.
- Managing notes verbal paperwork.
- Coordination with the lawyer for legal paperwork.
- Support of the logistics team with respect to materials and IT.
- Maintaining non-sensitive HR files.
- Participating in procurement processes.
- Handling of the inventory register.
- Administrative support in handling the fleet
- Onboarding of guests and newcomers.
3. Other Tasks
- Replacement of the Finance & Admin Manager during absences for selective tasks.

Skills
- Good IT knowledge and MS-office skills, knowledge in SAP is an asset
- Pragmatic, punctual under any circumstances, organized, reliable, flexible.
- Good oral and written communication skills in Arabic and English; Other languages (French or German) is an asset.
- Willingness to take responsibility, ability to work in an autonomous, proactive and results oriented way.
- High motivation and commitment to work for a governmental agency.
- Self-awareness, high ethical and professional standards, cultural sensitivity, team player and service orientation.
- High interpersonal skills.
Experience and Education
- Bachelor's degree in Banking & Finance or Accounting.
- Enthusiasm to work in a culturally diverse organization.
- Customer-service orientation; strong oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Self-motivated self-starter who is both able to work independently as well as take direction and follow procedures.
- 3 to 4 years' experience in the finance, preferably in an international environment and audit experience is an asset.
