Responsibilities
1.Develop and execute a comprehensive PR and communications strategy to shape the narrative of the hotel's transformation, targeting local, regional, and niche international media.
2.Serve as the hotel's chief storyteller and official spokesperson, crafting core messages, managing all media inquiries, and briefing senior executives for public appearances.
3.Build and maintain strong relationships with journalists, editors, and influencers to proactively secure high-impact media coverage and manage media familiarization trips.
4.Create compelling PR content including press releases, media kits, executive biographies, and bylined articles.
5.Proactively monitor media sentiment and online conversations to identify reputational risks and lead the crisis communications response when necessary.
6.Develop a community relations program to position the hotel as an engaged corporate citizen and build relationships with key industry and diplomatic stakeholders.
7.Collaborate with the Marketing team to ensure PR narratives are effectively amplified across digital channels and manage the hotel's reputation on review platforms.

Qualifications
1.5–7 years of experience in public relations, corporate communications, or journalism, with at least 2 years in a managerial role within the hospitality or luxury sector.
2.Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field. A Master’s degree is preferred.
3.Proven portfolio of secured media coverage and a strong, existing network of media contacts in Syria and the wider region.
4.Demonstrated experience in crisis communications and reputation management.
5.Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills in both Arabic and English (mandatory).
6.Deep understanding of both traditional and digital/social media landscapes.
7.Strong interpersonal and presentation skills, with the ability to engage confidently with senior executives, media, and dignitaries.
8.High level of professionalism, discretion, and cultural sensitivity.
9.Ability to work under pressure, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet tight deadlines.
