Responsibilities
Main Duties/Responsibilities:

• Ensure and implement the project in line with protection/child protection standards in collaboration with protection staff.
• Coordinating with the field administrative team area manager, program area manager and protection coordinator to ensure the implementation of project with the required quality and time.
• In collaboration with the protection technical advisor, oversee the development, updating, and implementation of the protection program strategy.
• Providing regular supervision and support to project staff.
• Manage the direct implementation of protection activities in the project.
• Carry out regular monitoring of activities and ensure service quality and minimum standards, by completing monitoring reports and providing regular feedback to staff.
• Coordinate with Monitoring and Evaluation, Security and Safety, Finance, Logistics, and other relevant departments to ensure activities are implemented smoothly and without adding risk to beneficiaries or staff.
• Role in monitoring budget disbursement for project.
• Full collaboration with the project focal point and providing a regular update and reports regarding protection activities
• Preparing, following up, and receiving logistical requests.
• Consulting with and providing the necessary information to the Safety and Liaison Coordinator regarding project approvals, and coordinating with relevant government authorities.
• Ensure capacity building and staff skills and ensure clarity of the communication process and understanding of the organization's policies
• Create and facilitate training on child protection techniques and principles and other relevant fields.
• Follow-up project documentation and database.
• Ensure that weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports are sent to the Program Director.



Qualifications
Qualifications and Education Requirements:

A university degree, preferably in the field of psychological and social counseling, education, law, or any of the related sciences or any other field that shows experience in the field of protection and humanitarian work

General Work Experience:
• At least three years of experience in managing protection projects and activities.
• Experience in administrative work and team leadership.
• Experience or training in the field of protection, child protection, women's protection, psychosocial support.

Skills:
• Languages:
Good in English (Writing-Reading-Speaking).
Good in Arabic (Writing-Reading-Speaking).

• Computing:
• High level in Microsoft Office (excel, word, outlook, teams, etc,).
• High communication skills with team and community leaders, with a good understanding of relevant cultures Very strong communication skills, with a good understanding of relevant cultures
• High level of flexibility, responsiveness, and credibility.
• Technical language in narrative reports


Abilities:
• Ability to lead a team.
• Ability to handle work pressure and work in a multicultural setting
• Ability to work with limited supervision and ability to take initiative.

• The ability to propose mechanisms for the development of work.
