Responsibilities
Job Summary: To build and maintain an integrated information system dedicated to monitoring, collecting, and cleaning national and sectoral data and indicators. The role involves transforming this data into analytical reports and accurate "need maps" to guide organizational strategy.

Duties and Responsibilities
1. Data Collection and External Coordination:
• Stakeholder Mapping: Identify and categorize key contact points within ministries, government agencies, and international organizations to ensure a regular and organized flow of data.
• Data Exchange Protocols: Formulate technical requirements for data requested from external parties to ensure receipt in formats compatible with digital analysis.
• National Indicator Monitoring: Track and document changes in macro-economic and social indicators issued by official statistical bodies and sectoral ministry reports.
2. Development Needs Analysis:
• Development Gap Analysis: Conduct comparisons between data collected from ministries and field realities to identify "gaps" requiring organizational intervention.
• Geographical Priority Ranking: Transform statistical data into "Need Maps" that highlight areas most eligible for development projects based on specific indicators.
• Development Response Profiles: Provide data summaries for each sector to serve as the primary foundation for the funding department when designing projects.
3. Technical and Developmental Tasks:
• Data Governance: Ensure the cleaning and coding of data from external sources to comply with the standards of the "Document and Information Management System" intended for implementation within the organization.
• Strategic Dashboards: Build interactive dashboards reflecting the "National Need Index" to support senior management in making expansion or funding decisions.
• Developmental Forecasting: Utilize historical data collected from ministries to predict future needs and alert the programs department before crises arise in specific sectors.
4. Archiving and Information Referencing:
• Statistical Library Management: Serve as the primary internal reference for all official figures and statistics, ensuring consistency in data used across all outgoing reports.
• Lessons Learned Documentation: Link data from implemented projects with initial needs assessments to measure the effectiveness of the organization's interventions in closing developmental gaps.



Qualifications
Qualifications and Experience
• Education: A university degree in Economics, Business Administration, Statistics, or a related field. A Master’s degree in a relevant specialization is preferred.
• Experience: A minimum of five years of practical experience in data collection and information management. Previous experience with non-profit organizations or NGOs is preferred.
• Language Skills: Very Good level of English (Speaking, Writing, and Comprehension).
