Responsibilities
1. Participate with the Project Manager the Finance Manager in developing projects; budgets.
2. Review and sign all Purchase Requests to ensure availability of funds according to the estimated budget.
3. Review and sign all Pay-orders and ensure that all related documents are complete.
4. Review the journal Entry and post the transactions into the general ledger as per EPDC accounting and financial system.
5. Follow up on timely manner the banks transactions with donors in order to ensure that all payments are being paid.
6. Follow up all projects financial issues in coordination with the Project Manager and all concerned parties in EPDC.
7. Create the Charts of Accounts the Cost Center for all assigned projects as per accounting and financial system.
8. Follow up on the external financial audits and ensure that all required documentations are complete in cooperation with concerned Finance team.
9. Liaise with relevant projects governorates staff to ensure that budget activities are implemented in the best and effective manner.
10. Create and update regular financial reports to ensure financial ratio achievements.
11. Review the Electronic copies for all the financial documents and ensure uploading them on the donors archiving platform to ensure good paper trail.
12. Closing the project and preparing financial plans for the closing process during the liquidation period.
13. Supervise the projects financial team, follow up their tasks in addition to perform their yearly evaluation in coordination with the Finance Manager.
14. Contribute to identifying potential financial risks, proposing mitigation measures, and ensuring the effective implementation of internal control systems.
15. Ensure the implementation of approved financial policies and procedures within projects and provide financial guidance when needed.

Qualifications
1-A bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, or an equivalent relevant professional certification.
2-Three years' experience Minimum in the accounting field, preferably for those who have experience in humanitarian work.
3-Proficient user of MS office excellent level as a minimum.
4-English language with an excellent level as a minimum.
