Responsibilities
- Support the implementation of child protection and psychosocial support (PSS) activities in schools and community settings, in coordination with the Protection Officer and Education team
- Contribute to community-based and intergenerational activities, facilitate group-based PSS activities and awareness sessions aimed at strengthening children’s well-being, resilience and social inclusion.
- Support the identification of children and individuals at risk, including children with disabilities and returnee families, through observation, community engagement and coordination with teachers and caregivers.
- Monitor community-based protection mechanisms, including school- and community-level committees.
- Contribute to the planning and implementation of community and intergenerational activities that promote inclusion, dialogue and peaceful coexistence.
- Engage with caregivers, community leaders, teachers and youth to strengthen awareness on child protection, disability inclusion and positive social norms.
- Highlight inclusion-related gaps and contribute to identifying practical adaptations to improve accessibility and participation, in coordination with technical teams.
- Contribute to protection monitoring activities, including the collection of qualitative and quantitative data related to child protection, PSS, inclusion, and community engagement. Support MEAL teams during assessments, spot checks, and post-activity monitoring.
- Prepare concise weekly field updates and contribute to monthly reports, highlighting progress, challenges, emerging protection trends and recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with TDH-IT safeguarding and PSEA policies, promptly report any concerns through approved channels, and support the implementation of AAP mechanisms at school and community level.

Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Education, Sociology, Social Sciences, or any other related.
- 2 years of experience in related field (Protection/Child Protection) with INGOs / At least 5 years of experience in related field with Local NGOs.
- Language fluency in English is required.
