Responsibilities
1: Technical and Capacity building
•Contribute to the design of the MHPSS strategy of the mission and provide technical support and assistance for the implementation of the MHPSS activities through the proper tools and methodologies.
•Lead the implementation of the Mental Health and Psycho-Social Support Services activities, which include: PSS sessions, Awareness sessions, Life skills sessions, Mhgap and mental health integration,...
•Contribute to the design and development of an MHPSS Toolkit with appropriate resources and guidelines to provide structured and unstructured MHPSS for children and adults.
•Contribute to the strategy of intervention, in direct collaboration with the technical team and other staff;
•Oversee the capacity building, monitoring, quality-assuring and evidence-building in the projects with regards to MHPSS.
•Technical follow-up of the project and teams to ensure compliance of the activities to technical guidelines provided by MHPSS TC and international standards in MHPSS
•Work with the CP and GBV specialist to strengthen PSS in case management providing guidance on identifying issues, empathy, session structure and referral.
2: Organization/management
•Ensuring the implementation of the projects and their re-orientation when needed;
•Maintain collaborative working relationships with relevant clusters and related working groups at national and/or field level and guarantee compliance to the eventual monthly cluster reporting requirements.
•Support the team in implementing the projects.
3: Internal and external reporting
•Support to the preparation of weekly, monthly, quarterly and annual (final) reports in English.
•Provide internal reporting to the project manager and MHPSS TC according to Dorcas internal tools
•Support in the reporting for the donors

Qualifications
•Bachelor degree in Psychology/Master is preferable
•Minimum of 3 years of experience in humanitarian aid and MHPSS preferably in an international or large local non-governmental organization (INGO);
•Very good command of English in both speech and writing;
•Knowledge of cultural differences in working and negotiating;
•Fluent in Arabic
•Planning, monitoring and evaluation skills;
•Knowledge of the UN cluster coordination system;
•Good Communication skills both verbally and in writing;
•Flexibility, ability to work with multi-disciplinary and multi-cultural people
•Able to cope and work in considerably stressful environment
•Good time management and task management skills
•Able to work independently and with autonomy, while following objectives and instructions
•High level of diplomacy, cultural sensitivity and security awareness
•Desire to develop his/her expertise and knowledge.
•Motivated, dynamic; able and willing to take initiatives
•Adherence to the mission and vision of Dorcas;
