Responsibilities
Oversee all accounting and financial activities of the school.
Prepare and manage the school’s budget while ensuring optimal use of financial resources.
Ensure the reliability of financial statements and implement strong internal controls.
Advise school leadership and the management committee on financial and budget-related matters.
Follow up on external audits and ensure the implementation of recommendations.
Manage family billing (registration fees, materials, etc.), track outstanding payments, and coordinate follow-ups according to the financial plan.
Identify and develop new funding sources to support school projects.
Prepare monthly financial reports for the Management Council.
Ensure compliance with fiscal regulations.
Participate in the financial planning of investment projects or exceptional expenditures, in coordination with operations and relevant contractors.

Qualifications
Master's degree in business administration, finance, accounting, or equivalent.
Proven experience in financial and accounting management, ideally in an educational or nonprofit setting.
Proficiency in management and reporting tools (Excel, accounting software/ERP).
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to propose practical solutions to complex issues.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; ability to collaborate with various stakeholders (school leadership, parents, service providers).
Team management experience.
Language: Fluency in English (spoken and written) is mandatory. Proficiency in French is highly valued.
Proven experience in financial and accounting management, ideally in an educational or nonprofit setting.
Proficiency in management and reporting tools (Excel, accounting software/ERP).
