Responsibilities
-Manages social media accounts, develops digital projects and produces engaging multimedia content.
-Creates, edits and publishes digital content, using audiovisual products (videos, photos, etc.), ensuring proper archiving.
-Ensures timely and effective delivery of content optimized for engagement and search.
-Contributes to communication campaigns and tools to raise awareness about humanitarian issues in Syria.
-Monitors political, security, humanitarian and other developments related to ICRC’s operations and reputation in Syria through social media listening and environmental scanning
-conducts research and analysis on social media use in Syria, integrates results into the digital strategy and collaborates on multimedia communication campaigns to raise awareness of humanitarian issues in Syria.
-Ensures effective feedback mechanisms to assure accountability to digital communities across interactive channels.
-Conducts evaluation of digital activities through performance reports.
-Provides guidance to colleagues on social media setup and best practices.
-Travels to the field whenever required.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in communications, marketing or journalism, preferably with a digital background and specialization.
- Very good command of spoken and written English and Arabic.
- 3-5 years’ overall professional experience.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in digital communication/internal communication, and in event management an advantage.
- Skilled in web editing, publishing and design tools (Canva, Photoshop).
- Experience in using social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, etc.).
- Excellent public speaking and communication skills.
- Very good command of spoken and written English and Arabic.
- 3-5 years’ overall professional experience.
- Minimum 3 years' experience in digital communication/internal communication, and in event management an advantage.

Permanently present in Syria since 1967, the ICRC is a neutral, impartial, and independent organization with an exclusively humanitarian mission.
