Responsibilities
-Carries out PFL activities and contributes to the design and implementation of projects, in line with the guidelines and working procedures.
-Analyze the security, socio-economic, cultural and political environment, shares relevant information with team members and reports any changes in the situation.
-Collects, compiles and translates related information to and from Arabic and English, paying attention to staff risk management requirements.
-Receives visits and/or calls and provides the primary point of contact between the visitors and/or callers and ICRC
-Assesses and monitors the humanitarian situation and its impacts on beneficiaries, proposes and implements courses of action, in line with protection and PFL guidelines.
-Pro-actively liaises with other métiers in the delegation involved in activities relating to the issue of the Missing
-Supports activities related to networking and partnerships with civil society organizations.
-Supports in the development and implementation of a Family Needs Assessment for the families of the Missing.
-Assists the PFL Delegate in local stakeholder mapping and referral.

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or relevant professional experience.
- 3-5 years’ experience in the field of social, political or economic sciences or similar.
- 1-2 years’ experience with the ICRC or another humanitarian agency an asset.
- Native proficiency of Arabic and very good command of English.
- Computer proficiency.
