Responsibilities
Job Summary:
Under the management of the GBV Manager, in close cooperation with the GBV team and other protection staff, the GBV Caseworker will provide GBV case management and counselling interventions in line with key principles, including do-no-harm, survivors' survivor-centered approach, and confidentiality, in line with IASC GBV Guidelines and GBV Case Management relevant SOPs.
· Support GBV survivors and those at risk from GBV with holistic GBV case identification and case management assistance.
· Identify participants requiring additional support and coordinate timely referrals to specialized GBV case management, MHPSS, or protection services.
· Provide case management for GBV survivors and those at risk of GBV, following the established international GBV case management minimum standards, IMC guidelines, and national GBV CM SOPs
· Provide individual and group PSS sessions to GBV survivors and cases in risk from GBV and focused PSS activities to improve cases’ psychological wellbeing and resilience. Ensuring that all PSS activities are survivor-centered, age-appropriate, and culturally sensitive, adhering to IASC MHPSS guidelines and GBV Minimum Standards.
· Facilitate structured group psychosocial support (PSS) sessions for women and girls at risk of or affected by GBV, using the “Women Rise” curriculum.
· Conduct a comprehensive assessment for the referred or identified cases, including safety assessment and priority needs.
· Provide basic emotional support and PFA for survivors and those at GBV risk.
· Conduct assessment, develop GBV case plan based on survivor’s centered approach, and make agreed internal and external referrals.
· Conduct regular follow-up sessions with the cases, and implementation of the action plan, including referrals to other services till closure.
· Evaluate the outcomes of the action plan and amend it accordingly.
- Document case information through accurate case management forms filling and ensure confidential and safe storage per IMC's policies and GBV CM SOPs.
- Prepare and submit reports on time and as per IMC reporting mechanisms; submit and update all data reports to the case manager supervisor/ team leader and data entry officers to ensure close coordination with the GBV manager to make sure that the maps of the service are up to date in the area of operations to ensure efficient referrals. Ensure close coordination with the MHPSS and CP managers and health staff in PHCs and MMTs to ensure the two ways referrals are up to date with accurate available services, locations, and contact information. Arrange and prepare for technical meetings and case-conference sessions.

- Deliver training to PSS Facilitators on GBV relevant topics (communication, identification and safe referrals, confidentiality).
- Support the outreach team with awareness raising on GBV topics, including PSEA sessions for staff and beneficiaries.

Qualifications
- University degree (BA or Master's)/ in psychology or equivalent degree in Social Work
- Volunteering or employment in MHPSS, Health, or Protection service provision or administration
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Strong project management skills and a demonstrated ability to work with teams, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and ensure high-quality work.
- Emotional maturity and agility in working in a fast-paced environment.
- Computer literacy with demonstrated experience in the utilization of databases and Microsoft Office.
- Fluent in English and Arabic languages
- Volunteering or employment in MHPSS, Health, or Protection service provision or administration
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and oral communication skills.
- Strong project management skills and a demonstrated ability to work with teams, prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and ensure high-quality work.
