Responsibilities
• Report on the results and impacts of Education activities to key stakeholders, identifying trends, patterns, and areas of improvement.
• Analyze data to highlight significant findings, such as gaps in attendance (e.g., absent girls from NFE activities), and provide actionable insights.
• Work alongside internal teams to align reporting with organizational needs and communicate key achievements and challenges.
• Design and implement data collection systems, ensuring all processes are efficient and comply with statistical standards.
• Harmonize reporting methods across governorates, aligning indicators to specific activities and ensuring consistency in data quality and format.
• Collect, store, and maintain data on SIF’s data platform, disaggregating by governorate and activity, and ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Develop and maintain reporting systems, including data visualizations (e.g., dashboards, graphs) using Power BI or similar tools.
• Generate and distribute regular reports (e.g., monthly) to the MEAL department, highlighting key data points, such as target achievements and comparisons between governorates.
• Produce graphical reports, maps, and dashboards that clearly present key programmatic data, including outcomes like the Back to Learning campaign analysis.
• Monitor and conduct regular validation checks on data collected from the field to ensure it is clean, accurate, and free from errors.
• Collaborate with field teams to ensure all data is cross-checked and validated before submission.
• Design and deploy custom data collection tools, such as assessments and surveys (e.g., pre and post child skills assessment tools).
• Create user guidelines and provide training for Country Office and Field staff on proper data tool usage and reporting.
• Ensure all information systems and processes comply with applicable data protection standards and donor requirements, including secure storage (e.g., OneDrive with restricted access).
• Provide training to SIF staff on data management, collection, and reporting structures.
• Support the development of data staff by participating in recruitment (e.g., conducting interviews, writing test banks, and grading) and providing ongoing mentorship.
• Provide clear, concise reporting for internal and external stakeholders, ensuring data-driven decisions are communicated effectively.
• Engage in discussions about indicators related to projects, explaining the meaning and significance of the data collected.
