Responsibilities
Planning
• Support the PM in the preparation of:
- Draft detailed activities workplan
- Draft the project procurement plan
• Provide support as required by the MEAL team to develop the MEAL plan for all projects according to Log Frames
• Provide Support to prepare drafts/ToR/BoQ for activities implementation (background, methodology, objectives, results, activities, BoQ, Monitoring and post monitoring table linked to result framework + cash, materials, transport).
• Support to prepare weekly activity planning, movement plan with the PM and APM.
• Contribute to weekly meeting
• Report completed weekly activities and upcoming plans every Sunday afternoon.


1-Implementation
• Identify and report technical and managerial challenges during project implementation to the PM or relevant technical coordinators
• Support the PM in the implementation of project activities.
• Lead on technical implementation of activities within area of expertise (Education).
• Supervise contractors, consultants, and implementing partners (IPs) ensuring implementation quality, reviewing and endorsing completion reports with PM and Sector Coordinators.
• Review and approve completion reports for works completed linking with Sectoral Coordinator and PM
• Support the PM in the implementation of baseline, midterm monitoring, post-monitoring survey, end-line surveys and all data collection required for activities implementation, reporting on results and objectives as required by the PM and ToR (with Kobo when possible)

2-Reporting
• Support to draft/inform the PM on activities accomplishment, including implementation data as requested (interim, final, ad hoc, etc).
• Participate in grant closing meetings for every closed grant (if required by the PM)
• Share data and technical inputs via email or hard copies in timely manner.

3-External Coordination
• Delegated function to attend external national and sub-national cluster meetings and sectoral working groups when required and delegated by the HoM
• Share meeting minutes and key discussion points internally.
Provide inputs to the HoM and sectoral coordinators in the definition of the country strategy

4-Project development
• Support to execute and manage of all required needs assessment (Standard, Rapid, Ad Hoc) and explo missions.
• Contribute technical inputs in new project proposals as required
• Share project ideas and concepts as deemed useful
• Propose written innovative actions in the area of intervention


Qualifications
1-Education & Technical Expertise
• University degree in a relevant field (e.g. Social Sciences, Education, Protection)
• Specialized knowledge in one or more sectors: Education.
• Familiarity with humanitarian principles and project cycle management

2-Professional Experience
• Experience supporting project planning, implementation, and reporting in humanitarian or development settings
• Proven ability to supervise contractors, consultants, and implementing partners
• Experience conducting needs assessments, monitoring surveys, and data collection

3-Skills & Competencies
• Strong planning and organizational skills (e.g. workplans, procurement plans, movement plans)
• Ability to draft technical documents: ToRs, BoQs, MoUs, monitoring tools
• Proficiency in reporting and documentation (interim, final, ad hoc reports)
• Familiarity with MEAL frameworks and log frames
• Computer literacy (Excel, Word, possibly project management tools like Agile Boards)

4-Language & Communication
• proficiency in Arabic and English (given the Syria context and COOPI’s working language)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills

Contract Type and Duration:
This is a full-time position under a 3-month renewable contract.
