Responsibilities
Responsibilities

Conduct periodic internal reviews or audits to ensure that compliance procedures are followed
Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations and management actions
Respond to management queries in relation to SAMS compliance environment.
Act as liaison with HQ and Compliance committee
Serve as a confidential point of contact for employees to communicate with management, seek clarification on issues or dilemmas, or report irregularities.
Direct the development or implementation of compliance-related policies and procedures throughout the organization.
Collaborate with human resources departments to ensure the implementation of consistent disciplinary action strategies in cases of compliance standard violations.
Maintain documentation of compliance activities, such as complaints received or investigation outcomes.
Consult with SAMS attorney as necessary to address legal compliance issues.
Coordinate and follow up with internal or external auditors in compliance reviews.
regular monitoring of the compliance management system to determine whether the Framework and related policies and processes are being adhered to.
Facilitating and monitoring implementation of effective risk management practices by operational management.
Provide and support compliance training to ensure that all relevant employees are trained on a regular basis
report to the Corporate Compliance Committee on the general status of compliance reviews, the outcome of compliance auditing and monitoring, and the corrective actions taken.
Perform other related duties as assigned and agreed upon

Staff management
Ensure all project staff have job descriptions and are aware of their responsibilities.
Develop performance objectives for each staff. Evaluate staff according to SAMS HR policy.
Develop professional development plans for project staff.
Delegate appropriately.
Build an effective team approach ensuring project staff are working together effectively.
Hold weekly team meetings with project staff for planning purposes, information sharing and problem solving.

Office culture
Promote and model a positive, professional and respectful office culture.
Initiate team building initiatives.
Ensure effective and positive transition for exiting employees.
Ensure effective internal communications.


Qualifications
University Degree
Minimum of Five years of compliance experience.
Very good communication skills both verbal and written (English and Arabic).
Ability to devise solutions to complex problems.
Energy and enthusiasm to motivate and engage others.
Dependability with strong interpersonal skills.
Strong influence and negotiation skills.
Integrity, confidentiality, and approachability.


Salary and Benefits
The salary will be defined according to the SAMS salary scale.
