Responsibilities
1. Review project technical specification, BoQ and drawing prepared by site engineer and provide details to Shelter Officer for approval.
2. Prepare necessary PRFs and coordinate with procurement staff to bidding and support shelter officer for technical evaluation bids.
3. Coordinate with procurement unit and field teams for contract documents for projects.
4. Collect necessary weekly, bi-weekly and monthly progress reports from the field team, analyse the progress, issues and other project related requirements, report and provide recommendations to the shelter officer.
5. Conduct field visits to the projects within area of responsibility to monitor progress and verify works are in accordance with specifications.
6. Follow up project related completion reports from the field team and coordinate with procurement for necessary actions.
7. Support the shelter officer to maintain the program monitoring matrix containing a list of all projects, including types, locations, costs, beneficiary numbers and ensure regular and timely submission to the durable solutions project officer and shelter officer.
8. Perform such other duties as may be assigned.

Qualifications
• University degree in civil engineering from an accredited academic university or institute with five years of relevant professional experience; or
• High School Diploma with seven years of relevant professional experience.
