Responsibilities
1.Review and verify all invoices, bills, and supporting documents for accuracy and compliance.
2.Ensure all financial transactions follow organizational policies and donor requirements.
3.Review project-related contracts, agreements, and financial aspects of partnerships and vendors.
4.Record and oversee accounting entries in the financial system (iScala).
5.Track budget items in actual time.
6.Monitor project budget and Annual Work Plan against actual expenses and highlight variances.
7.Prepare financial analysis and provide recommendations to the Project Manager.
8.Verify bank and cash payments and ensure completeness of supporting documents.
9.Prepare monthly financial reports, fund monitoring reports, and financial updates.
10.Prepare donor financial reports, cash requests, and forecasts.
11.Support the preparation and review of the Annual Work Plan.
12.Support audits and ensure proper financial documentation and filing.
13.Work closely with the Project Manager & AKHS Finance Manager to support effective financial management.

Education:
-University Degree in Economics or professional qualification in accounting.
Experience:
-Three years of experience in accounting field.
-Ability to work under pressure and meeting deadlines.
-Good communication and teamwork skills.
-Personal initiative and self-motivation.
-Experience in budget preparing, and good report writing skills.
-Excellent level of English (written and spoken).
-Good user of Microsoft Office programs.
Another requirement:
-Not a government employee.
-The ability to travel within Damascus and its countryside, as well as the rest of the provinces.
-The ability to commit to working with AKHS-S during official working hours.
