Responsibilities
Deal with customer enquiries and prepare technical documents.
Provide technical clarifications to customers and to internal departments when required.
Cross check tenders prepared by other Engineers and review technical documents.
Develop new documents/products and product improvements.
Attending customer enquiries. (SAP / ERP system)
Provide technical support to Quality Control Department.
Cross check offers prepared by other Engineers.
Update all International Standards at all levels of distribution.
Update all catalogues of the Company.
Prepare/review current rating for LV, MV, HV cables and EHV cables. (CYMCAP)
Prepare/review short circuit computations for conductor and cable screen.
Prepare/review manufacturing instructions as and when needed. (ADVARIS & MS Excel)
Look after cable raw materials and follow the most updated information in this regard in co-ordination with other concerned departments.
Perform/review all OHL electrical and mechanical characteristics computations.
Perform/review all cables electrical and mechanical characteristics computations.
Interfacing with other technical personnel and customers to jointly determine the customers; needs and solutions.
Performing other duties related to the job as assigned by the Technical Manager

Qualifications
• B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum of 6 -10 years’ experience in wires & cables or utility industry.
• Professional knowledge in Product Design, Cable Technology, Manufacturing Practices, Industrial and Quality Standards, and Product Development Life Cycle.
• Completed advanced training in Cable Manufacturing Technology, Product Design, Product Development Life Cycle, and design-related computer applications.
• Minimum of 6 -10 years’ experience in wires & cables or utility industry.
• Professional knowledge in Product Design, Cable Technology, Manufacturing Practices, Industrial and Quality Standards, and Product Development Life Cycle.
