Responsibilities
Develop detailed project schedules using tools like Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project
Prepare baseline programs, manpower histograms, and cash flow forecasts
Monitor project progress and update schedules regularly
Identify potential delays and propose mitigation strategies
Perform critical path analysis and evaluate project risks
Coordinate with site engineers, project managers, and subcontractors
Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports
Analyze variations, claims, and extension of time (EOT) requests
Track resource allocation and productivity
Ensure compliance with contract requirements and project milestones

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, or related field
3 years of experience in planning/scheduling within a contracting company
Strong knowledge of construction methodologies and sequencing
Proficiency in planning software (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project)
Good understanding of contracts (e.g., FIDIC)
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
