Responsibilities
The site engineer will be responsible for the following under the supervision of the respective section:
Output1: Pre-Implementation stage
- Participating and assisting the MOH representative in preparing the engineering technical study necessary to start the rehabilitation work for health facilities by conducting field visits to the health facilities proposed for rehabilitation, while preparing a full report for the current status of the health facility, supported with photos and plans.
Output2: Implementation stage
- Being present on a daily basis in workplace –health facility- that are being rehabilitated, whether the health facility within the city or in its countryside.
- Preparing field assessment reports and following-up projects activities and arise the reports to technical officers at ORGANIZATION Damascus Office.
- Following-up the contract implementation of the rehabilitation of health facility, and participate in organizing workflow minutes with the MOH representative and the contractor including all the decisions and suggestions.
- Assessing the work progress and quality, and prepare technical reports, recommended for ORGANIZATION approval any variation orders, validating and signing-off with MOH engineers or end users on completed works.
- Raising the potential problems that might arise between parties with possible suggestions to overcome the differences, and coordinating with technical officer on work progress.
Output3: Project completion
- Handing-over jointly with MOH the completed project.
- Endorsing the work completion according to the tender documents, preparing handing over report and as built drawings signed by the contractor, the supervision engineer and client.
Output4: engineering advice
- Providing ORGANIZATION Damascus office with technical engineering advice and assistance of any engineering matters that might arise.

Qualifications
Qualification:
- Bachelor of Science in Civil or Architectural Engineering.
- A master degree is preferable.
Professional Experience:
- At least 5 years of experience in construction of building and civil structural
- Bachelor of Science in Civil or Architectural Engineering.
