Responsibilities
Main Duties/Responsibilities:
.
•To assist the line manager in Monitoring the quality, quantity, cost and efficiency of the work and storage of goods.
•To assist the line manager in Analyzing data to monitor performance and plan improvements on demand.
•liaising and negotiating with agencies and suppliers.
•Analyzing logistical problems and producing new solutions.
•Creating database and maintaining information about the suppliers, vendors and purchased items
•Maintaining Vehicle logs for all trips & all vehicles maintenance logs.
•Performing logistic tasks as required by SCO, coordinator or Manager/ CD.
•Reporting tasks and issues to management as needed.
•Coordinating on delivery of services with inside Office`s logistics staff.
•Try to find best solutions for problems with no violating of logistics policies and share his ideas with superior managers
•Report to Supply chain coordinator and Senior SC Officer and perform tasks set as required
•Manag the fleet for all the projects and arrange the movement plans according to the program needs, manage the drivers and coordinate the transportation tasks, check and examine the vehicles’ ability and readiness for movements, control the attendance sheet and the car logs for the drivers.
•Manage the administration needs in the office and coordinate with all the department, Manage the office store and register all in and out supply, Prepare the PR for the quarter need accordingly.
•Use computer word processing, spreadsheet, and database software to prepare reports, memos, and documents.

Qualifications
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
•High school, Bachelors or Diploma in business management or accounting or economy or any logistics related field.
General Work Experience:
•Minimum 1 year of experience in general supply chain or administrative tasks, in general, able to support operations by assisting, helping, organizing and sharing in implementing administrative systems.
Skills:
•Languages:
Good in English (Writing-Reading-Speaking).
Good in Arabic (Writing-Reading-Speaking).
•Computing:
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including, excel, word, outlook etc.
•Have a knowledge about Warehouse management/supply chain systems
•Communication: Strong communicator, negotiating facilitating and presenting
•Time management, organization
•Accounting, Procurement and negotiation skills is an asset
•Warehouse controlling -Transport controlling.
•Purchasing, costing, budgeting
Abilities:
•Understanding of the initial logistics and procurement methods.
•To work extra time as needed
•To travel in general inside Syria borders if required)
•Organizing and achieving goods /documents
•Establish material quotations
•To show commitment to social justice and the mission of SYD as an organization
•To demonstrate commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
•To communicate with local authorities and customs in the country if required
•To maintain and manage fleet systems
•To maintain and manage admin ordering systems
•To communicate efficiently with multiple teamsemployees of different backgrounds or nationalities
•To demonstrate commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace
•To follow and track legal issues effectively
•To work extra time as needed
