• Administers and maintains the organization’s wired and WIFI networks to ensure all staff members have consistent, secure and reliable access to the internet;
• Administers, monitors and maintains all local IT infrastructure to ensure its reliable and secure operation;
• Ensure design of system allows all components to work properly together
• Troubleshoot problems reported by users
• Continually assesses the operation of all software and hardware systems to identify opportunities to improve those systems
• Keeps abreast of latest developments in technology,
• Design and deploy networks, Perform network address assignment
• Specify the specs of the new needs/equipment/services for daily the operations and arrange the requests after coordination with the Procurement and logistics manager.
• Is always on standby in the event of any incident that affects programmatic operations from an IT perspective
• Sets up for staff, maintains device inventory, upgrades and repairs devices.
• Establish and agree on key performance indicators, monitor ongoing performance, and improve performance against set goals – in case of managerial position
• Achieve outcome of SIF projects according to Donors conditions and requirements
• Ensure adherence to SIF Procedures Manual
• Perform related duties as assigned or as the situation dictates
• Maintain confidentiality and ensure the non-disclosure of any information whatsoever relating to the practices and business of SIF, acquired in the course of duty, to any other person or organization without authority, except in the normal execution of duty
• Perform other duties as required.

• Skilled in the operation and administration of Microsoft’s Office 365 environment;
• Skilled in document management in SharePoint and OneDrive
• Familiar with the suite of Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive, OneNote and Teams;
• Familiar with remote control tools such as Quick Assist
• Possess advanced networking skills including monitoring / maintenance / operation of firewalls, switches, wireless access points
• Configure and maintain network printers.
• Ability to work independently
• Good communication skills and ability to provide technical support to users.
• Good command of English
